Bus cards
MSE K-5 Families:
This week the students will start using bus cards to scan on and off District buses.
The free My Ride K12 app lets authorized users see real-time updates on when and where to expect their child’s bus each day. It also lets parents see when their child has scanned on and off the bus. Even if your child does not have a card yet, our drivers can manually check them on and off the bus, and you can still see when the bus is nearing your child’s stop. The goal of this system is to increase safety and efficiency for all student riders.
My Ride K12 is free to download, secure, and requires a confidential login. To register, download My Ride K12 from the Google Play or Apple App Store, search for Troy R-III, and register your children with their name, birth date, and student identification number. You can find student identification numbers by logging into Campus Parent, selecting your child, and viewing the number below and to the right of their photo.
For more information about My Ride K12 and login troubleshooting, visit the district website. For questions, please contact your child’s school office.
**Each student is given one free replacement during their K-5 career, after that there is a $5 charge for any lost cards.**
**Cards will be collected at the end of each year to provide safe keeping over the summer. **
